Oban and Disrtict was taken over by West Coast Motors and vehicles soon started to loose the Distictive Blue & Cream livery for West Coast Motors livery. As will be seen in many of the photos below, although West Coast Livery is carried, Oban and District fleetnames remained for a while. Below is a picture of GCS 50V taken in Oban on 14th September 2000 at which time she carried no fleetnames! She operated for Oban and District / West Coast Motors from August 1997 until I purchased her in May 2007. Many thanks to Chris Martin for supplying the photograph and allowing me to use it on my site.
Below is a photo of GCS 50V taken at Ardrishaig Depot a few years before I bought her for preservation. Again West Coast Motors fleetnames are carried at this time. Beside GCS 50V can be seen J303 BRM another EX Western Scottish Vehicle.

During February 2009, E.F.E (Exclusive First Editions) released a model of GCS 50V in West Coast Motors livery. I was really thrilled that they had chosen to produce a model of my vehicle, even though it wasn't in Clydeside Scottish livery. I of course had one on order as soon as I found out, which arrived on Friday 20th February 2009.
I have now ordered a few more for my family, so there is at least five now sold!.

Ok so the style of the seats and doors are wrong, but still looks good!
